Michael Goldberg

Michael Goldberg has been in the investment industry for over 30 years and is the founder of Sonar Asset Management, a private investment company that specializes in the purchase of distressed debt. Prior to founding Sonar, Michael was a Managing Director at Longacre Fund Management, LLC, serving as a distressed debt analyst specializing in bankruptcies and stressed credits. Prior to Longacre, he was a Managing Director at Banc of America Securities, LLC in its M&A group and Chase Securities, Inc as a Vice President in its M&A group.

Michael received a Bachelor of Science in Management in Finance from Tulane University and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University specializing in finance and international business.
